Colgate’s Office of Institutional Planning and Research (IPR), on behalf of the Assessment Committee and the President’s Task Force on Remote Learning, has invited students to participate in the Fall 2020 COVID-19 Student Survey.
This survey is one of the three fall 2020 COVID-19 surveys that seek to identify some of the ways that COVID-19 has impacted members of Colgate’s faculty, staff, and students, and also to provide valuable guidance to those who need to make decisions about the spring semester. This fall 2020 student survey is closely aligned, although not identical, to the survey that they were asked to complete after the spring 2020 term.
Student participation in every part of the survey, including the demographic questions at the end, is voluntary.
This survey is confidential, and no identifying information will be shared; reports will include aggregates from groups of people to ensure that individual responses cannot be identified.
We’d be grateful if you would encourage your student to share their input.

Spring 2021 Course Registration
|
Course registration for Spring 2021 remains open through January 11. There have been many additions and changes to the course offerings since they were first posted in October. Students received a link to subscribe to a Changes to the Course Offerings document and were notified to continue to check their Colgate email through December 11 for waitlist seat offerings.

Additional 2021–22 Off-Campus Study Groups
|
Members of the Classes of 2022 and 2023 were notified earlier this month that the Office of Off-Campus Study has received approval to offer three additional study group opportunities for the 2021–2022 academic year: Geneva (Fall 2021), London Economics (Fall 2021), and Trinidad (Spring 2022). These offerings were added due to the extraordinary COVID-19–related disruptions to off-campus study programs for the current academic year.
Students were strongly encouraged to review information about the additional study groups, reach out to relevant faculty directors, and apply as soon as possible; the application deadlines vary, each falling in December.

2021 Salmagundi Yearbook
|
Colgate is proud of the Salmagundi’s strong tradition and the memories the yearbook will hold for your student, and the staff is working hard to create a fitting memento.
For Class of 2021 members who missed the Fall 2020 senior portrait session, a spring 2021 senior portrait session will be offered on campus. Those studying remotely can contact Denise Upton in the Center for Leadership and Student Involvement (dupton@colgate.edu) for information on how to submit a photo.
Early order pricing is available until December 18, but families have until the end of June to place an order for the 2021 Salmagundi.
Click the order button below, or call 1-877-767-5217 to reserve your copy.
