Join us for an enlightening exploration of American party politics with Sam Rosenfeld, co-author of "The Hollow Parties: The Many Pasts and Disordered Present of American Party Politics". Sam will dive into the complexities and historical context behind the current state of American political parties, from the roots of polarization to the dynamics of partisan conflict, providing a comprehensive understanding of our nation's political landscape.

Alumna, Amanda Terkel ’04, will conduct an engaging interview with Sam, offering further perspective and inviting thought-provoking questions from the audience. Sam is also leading Colgate's Washington, D.C. study group this semester and those students will be in attendance.
