Panelist Bios:
John Cushman '63, P'89, H'08
John C. Cushman, III is a global leader in the commercial real estate industry. He currently serves as Chairman, Global Transactions, where he is responsible for formulating and articulating strategic policies and initiatives for Cushman & Wakefield on a national and global basis.
Over the course of his 50+ year career, John has played an instrumental role in advancing Cushman & Wakefield to its position as one of the top commercial real estate firms in the world. Prior to his becoming Chairman of the Board and subsequently Co-Chairman of the Board of Cushman & Wakefield, John was acknowledged by a variety of media sources as the top office leasing broker in the United States.
Mark Falcone '85, P'12
Mark Falcone founded Continuum Partners, LLC in Denver in 1997. Since its inception Continuum has successfully completed over $2 billion of development and established itself as a national leader of complex, mixed use urban infill projects.
Prior to forming Continuum, Mark worked with The Rouse Company’s division of Office and Community Development in Baltimore, MD and served in several key roles in his family’s real estate development group, The Pioneer Companies. He graduated with a BA from Colgate University in 1985.
Tama Huang '93
Tama Huang is Chief Innovation Officer. A member of CohnReznick’s senior leadership team, she leads a culture of innovation – cultivating teaming across the Firm to generate new ideas, implement emerging technologies, and improve procedures to drive growth for the Firm and its people. She also works closely with other Firm leaders throughout the world to innovate through global strategic alliances and partnerships.
Tama was previously Principal and Global Real Estate Advisory Services Leader of CohnReznick, formerly NOI Strategies. She launched NOI Strategies in 2003 to meet the unique needs of the commercial real estate industry using technology to improve business processes. She has helped build NOI Strategies into a global business serving many of the world’s largest commercial real estate firms.
Thomas Campbell '00
Thomas Campbell is a founder and principal of Thorobird Companies LLC, leading development, acquisitions and operational strategy. Thomas also serves on the Albany Budget and the New York City Budget Committees of the New York State Association for Affordable Housing. Prior to founding Thorobird, Thomas worked in Finance for Merrill Lynch managing a $300,000,000 portfolio of investments and later for Morgan Stanley as an institutional advisor to corporations.
