Join alumni, students, families, and friends for a reception featuring a cappella performances by the Colgate Thirteen and the Swinging 'Gates at the St. Francis Yacht Club.
Registration is $13. Children 12 and under are free to attend. Appetizers and beverages will be served. This event is hosted by Leslie Anglada ’87, Melissa Kepner ’88, and Christy Remey Chin ’91.
The Colgate Thirteen is Colgate University's first all-male a cappella group. Since 1942, the 13 has been traveling across the country and even across the globe entertaining all audiences with its extensive repertoire of classic and contemporary songs.
The Swinging ’Gates is Colgate's only all female a cappella group. The ’Gates was founded in 1974 by a group of courageous women seeking to share their beautiful voices. Comprised of over 25 members ranging from first-year students to seniors, this group is a student-run, non-profit organization that reflects the hard work and dedication of all the women involved.
