Colgate offers multiple options to get you home to rest and recharge during school breaks.
2024 Summer Break Transportation
The Colgate Cruiser (operated by First Transit) provides winter break transportation to:
- the Syracuse Hancock International Airport
the Syracuse Regional Transportation Center (which serves Greyhound, Megabus, and Trailways Bus Lines, and local Centro bus line)
To better accommodate all students’ travel schedules, the Cruiser will be running continuous loops to and from Colgate and the Syracuse transportation hubs. Loop times can be found on the Google Form reservation documents below.

Pick-up locations: Frank Dining Hall, Donovan’s Pub, or the Class of ’65 Arena
Drop-off Locations: Syracuse Airport or Syracuse Regional Transportation Center, and Utica Boehlert Transportation Center

Reservations and Payment
Reservation and payment for all trips must be made before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8. Any trips not scheduled prior to this deadline are not guaranteed. Payment can be made by calling 315-228-4287.

Megabus
Megabus offers trips from campus to Port Authority in New York City for academic breaks. Pick-up and drop-off will be in front of the James C. Colgate Student Union on College St.
My Bus Home
My Bus Home offers affordable bus transportation to Newton, Mass., and White Plains, N.Y., with pick-up and drop-off on campus.

Price
Pricing per trip depends on the destination and the number of students who register. A 1-way fare is half the price of a round trip.
Fare Policy
A minimum of 30 riders are required per trip, you will be notified before the trip deadline if there are not enough students for a bus.
