Colgate's On-Demand Shuttle can be booked by students, alumni, faculty, staff, or campus visitors for trips between campus and Syracuse or Utica.

The service offers easy and safe transport to and from the Syracuse Hancock International Airport, the Syracuse Regional Transportation Center, and the Utica Boehlert Transportation Center. It also provides students with a cost-effective option for small groups (four or more) to book trips to local/regional destinations.

Shuttle service is operated by First Transit.

Reservations

Please ensure that all rider's names/emails are listed on the form. Email the completed request form to us.Colgate.OnDemandScheduling@transdev.com, please note that the First Transit contact email has changed. 

If you have not received a timely response, please reach out to cruiserfeedback@colgate.edu as soon as possible with your request.

Deadline

Reservation questions must be sent in by

  • 5 p.m. two days before the trip if the trip occurs during the week
    • Ex. If you need to reserve an On-Demand Shuttle for Friday at 1 p.m., you will need to send the request form in no later than Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
  • 5 p.m. on Thursday for trips occurring on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday
    • Ex. If you need to reserve an On-Demand Shuttle for Sunday at 1 p.m., you will need to send the request form in no later than Thursday at 5:00 p.m.

First Transit Fees

Please note that First Transit accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. American Express is currently not accepted.

Fees effective September 1, 2023. To learn more about pricing information for alternate destinations, please contact First Transit using the contact information above. All fees listed below are per person.
